Madrigal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Madrigal) makes contributions to non-profit organizations, research institutions, and hospitals that align with its commitment to pursuing novel therapies for nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH), and related medical areas of interest.
Madrigal is also dedicated to working collaboratively with patient advocacy organizations and patient communities to improve disease education and advance support for people affected by NASH.
Some of the types of contributions Madrigal funds include:
- Sponsorships
- Financial support provided for a program, event, or project, including healthcare-related conventions, specialty medical society meetings or other healthcare conferences, or patient advocacy events where Madrigal receives a direct and tangible benefit (e.g. advertisement, booths, exhibit space, recognition).
- Grants
- Patient Advocacy Grant
- Financial support for any activity that is organized, controlled, and conducted by an independent patient advocacy group, including but not limited to, patient education events, disease awareness initiatives, and programs to advance patient support and/or patient care.
- Research & Development Grant
- Financial support provided for scientific time-limited programs or projects with identified objectives related to researchers and scientists.
- Patient Advocacy Grant
- Donations to Independent Charitable Patient Assistance Programs (CLOSED)
- Donations to Independent Charitable Patient Assistance Programs: Funding to independent patient assistance foundation fund/s that provide financial assistance to qualified patients to help cover their insurance premiums, copayments and/or other medical expenses without regard to their choice of product.
